One of our missions here at Collective-E is to urge consumers to make an effort to purchase goods made by entrepreneurs and small businesses, and draw attention to this ever-growing part of the business population that accounts for 99.7% of employers in the country while  providing unique goods and services of all kinds.  Beyond discovering amazing products across all categories, we encourage you to think outside of the box while Buying Entrepreneur.  This could include purchasing gift certificates at your local independent restaurant or a neighborhood hair salon, supporting or hosting a home trunk show party, patronizing a neighborhood boutique, shopping on a favorite online boutique and so much more.

Statistically speaking:

• Entrepreneurs & small businesses produce a GDP of over $6 trillion dollars
• The $10.6 million businesses in the United States owned by women employ 19.1 million workers (1 in 7 employees)
• Minority-owned small businesses account for $591 billion in national revenues
